MY ROLE

Lindsey partnered with an Indianapolis-based entrepreneur to redesign the UX for his premier technology staffing agency.

We spent time evaluating and studying his target audience, analyzing competitors and creating mood boards based on our collaborative research. During competitor analysis, I studied over a dozen sites in the space to glean insights on industry best practices and differentiation factors.

Every element of the research defined the branding process. I created the brand colors and aesthetic. Brand keywords like edgy, modern, relevant, cutting-edge and knowledgeable defined the approach. I ideated around a streamlined and simple logo representing connectivity and presented a total of 8 unique logo directions in collaboration with a junior designer. Following logo approval, we also provided a finalized brand guide.

I moved into conversations around key functionality needs of the new website. The two highest goals of the site are to attract enterprise companies as clients and to curate a network of high-caliber talent.

The site map was simplified to accommodate these two goals. The layout was designed to incorporate warm, people-centric photography accented by the new brand colors and modern elements.
